Hello! My name is Kayla Bell, I am from a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada, and I have the passion to help individuals develop essential life skills through personal growth.
I became a new mother in 2015, and this experience has defiantly impacted my point of view. I want to make the future a better place for my daughter in any way that I possibly can. By creating programs and resources to help other with essential life skills gives me the hope that I can make a difference in someone’s life, and eventually had the potential to help change society to grow as a whole.
I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with youth at risk of homelessness, helping them achieve their goals in order to succeed in their lives was extremely rewarding. I have also had the opportunity to work with adults with cognitive and physical disabilities, here I was able to learn and grow from all those I have helped. Their passion for happiness was a real eye-opener to the fact that there is much more to life.
In 2012 I obtained my BA with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Biology from St. Francis Xavier University, this has given me a solid background to properly pursue my passion. I am currently completing a Family Support Degree from Ryerson University which with help further my knowledge to help members of my and other communities. I have many years of experience in developing and facilitating life skills and personal programming, these years of experience has allowed me to alter each program with the ever-changing ways of society.
My programs have been facilitated with great success, leading to evidence-based programs. I will continue to develop and learn new ways to help others in any way that I can do so.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
